Nile Nights makes its Chicago debut on July 11, featuring comedy from Chicago's Samir Abdul, a live set from rising R&B artist Rama (who's collaborated with Dreamville's EarthGang), and a DJ set from Nile Nights resident DJ Love Bonez spanning Sudanese and pop culture music, hosted by Chicago's Akram. A portion of proceeds benefits Haboba's House, which repairs homes in Sudan damaged by the ongoing war.

Nile Nights started as a scrappy NYC charity show in 2024 — Chicago finally gets its own night of Sudanese sound, comedy, and community, with proceeds going toward rebuilding homes back home.
