Solidarity drink on sale: papelón con limón

Starting Wednesday, 7/15, through Sunday, 8/9, we’re selling papelón con limón at Anticonquista Café. If you don’t know it yet, it’s a classic Venezuelan drink made with cane sugar and fresh lime, the kind of thing you’d get from a street vendor in Venezuela on a hot day, or from your tía who insists it’s better than anything store-bought.

Every papelón you drink at Anticonquista Café helps fund earthquake relief efforts in Venezuela right now through Alimenta la Solidaridad, a grassroots nonprofit that runs community kitchens and trains local leaders across Venezuela, working on food security, nutrition, child protection, education, and livelihoods programs for families impacted by structural inequities.
